Fahmida Farzana is a communications professional with five years of experience in communication, content strategy, and stakeholder engagement in the development and humanitarian sectors. She currently works as a Communications Associate at SANEM.
Prior to this, she worked at ARK Foundation as the Research Uptake and Communication Officer, where she supported evidence-based public health communication in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Ministry of Local Government (MoLGED), and development partners including WHO, UKAid, and DNCC.
Her previous experience includes working with UNV Bangladesh, CMMS, Adventor Communications, and Bina Terer Pathshala, contributing to projects focused on education, youth engagement, and gender equity. As co-host of Common Grounds, a debate series under The Attention Network, Fahmida facilitated public conversations on rights, freedom of expression, and civic engagement.
Fahmida holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English and English Literature from the University of Dhaka, grounding her storytelling and analytical thinking in a strong academic foundation. Passionate about research uptake, feminist communication, and development discourse, she aspires to keep shaping conversations that contribute to a more just and inclusive society.
