SANEM is offering paid internship opportunities for university students. The objective of the internship is to provide students opportunity to get practical training and experience in research work. Through this internship, students will be able to employ their theoretical knowledge in applied fields.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting in implementation of research dissemination, training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, etc.
  2. Preparing draft write-ups
  3. Assisting in coordination and facilitation of surveys
  4. Assisting in arranging Key Informant Interviews and Focused Group Discussions
  5. Translating and Transcribing
  6. Preparing communication materials and social media contents
  7. Assisting researchers as required

Internship Duration: 3 months

Working Modality:

  1. Weekly 20 hours
  2. Office attendance is flexible. Interns can also work from home. Interns may be required to attend office for certain meetings and assignments. However, academic commitments of the students will be considered accordingly.

Eligibility:

  1. University students currently studying in Honours 3rd/4th Year or Masters, in the field of Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, or other relevant fields
  2. Good command over Bangla and English
  3. Basic understanding of economics and social science research
  4. Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite and Google Suite)
